The Vespri segmentation
Seven capital-intensive, high value-added engineering sectors: automotive, defense/aerospace, energy, electronics/semiconductors, mechanical/automation, construction/AEC, rail/naval. The scope reflects the structural closeness between these segments — shared skilled labour, shared suppliers, comparable investment cycles — which makes cross-comparison analytically relevant. Each sector is analyzed along the same four dimensions — employment, finance, skills and short-term market dynamics — through accredited, verifiable sources, with the same method applied across every segment.
